A GOOD BOOK NEVER HAS AN ENDING.

TOP 5 FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTERS
these female characters are kickass ok

1. Rose Hathaway
from Vampire Academy
reason: Her character development is stunning; her humor is stunning; her fighting skills are stunning; her personality is stunning; eVERYTHING ABOUT HER IS STUNNING. IF YOU OBJECT AND DISAGREE, PLEASE WRITE A TEN PAGE ESSAY DESCRIBING WHY YOU DON’T THINK SHE IS SO I CAN SHRED IT INTO LITTLE STRIPS AND THROW THE STRIPS INTO THE AIR ABOVE AND AROUND YOU WHILE I STEP ON THEM LIKE YOUR OPINION DOESN’T MATTER AND IS MERELY DIRT. which is exactly what it is if you don’t like Rose.

2. Annabeth Chase
from Percy Jackson and the Olympians
reason: ANNABETH IS BETTER THAN YOU, AND YOU KNOW IT. She’s strong, capable, and has a lot of interesting quirks to her personality that I admire.

3. Sydney Sage
from Bloodlines
reason: Her character development is so freaking AMAZING that it makes Davy’s character development from The Ask and the Answer look bad, which is saying a whole lot because Davy’s character development is really amazing. Sydney’s growth as a character is so fantastic that it makes me want to hold up a sign and yell, “GO SYDNEY”. Plus she’s really brave and has a lot of hidden depths to her personality.

4. Sophia Mercer
from Hex Hall
reason: I literally feel like her humor is connected directly to my soul; she’s freaking hilarious. PLUS SHE IS REALLY BRAVE AND CAN TAKE ON DEMON SUMMONING WITCHES LIKE IT’S CHILD’S PLAY.

5. Isabelle Lightwood
from The Mortal Instruments
reason: she is hardcore to the bone and I really like her character development do you guys see a pattern here

TOP 5 FAVORITE MALE CHARACTERS
I WANT TO CRADLE THESE SOULS IN MY ARMS AND SING ALL THEIR WORRIES AWAY LIKE THE ANGEL I AM NOT
note: If you’ll notice below, you’ll see that I have included a “top 5 favorite fictional boyfriends” section and have not included those characters in this one. I did it because  they’re my “fictional boyfriends” and it makes my feeling towards them biased.

1. Roar
from Under the Never Sky
reason: I LITERALLY COULD NOT READ THROUGH THE EVER NIGHT AT POINTS WHERE ROAR WERE IN THE NOVEL BECAUSE I COULD NOT HANDLE ROAR. I HAD TO STOP READING AND LIE IN THE FETAL POSITION MOANING LIKE A LOSER UNTIL I COULD CONTINUE ON IN THE STORY. I PRACTICALLY LIVED, ATE, AND SLEPT ROAR ALL OF THE DAYS I HAD TO READ THE BOOK. He still makes me want to internally cry inside. I JUST CAN’T, WITH ROAR.

2. Leo
from The Heroes of Olympus
reason: He’s so funny and dorky and jUST REALLY BRILLIANT AND STRONG AND SMART.

3. Zombie
from The 5th Wave
reason: I still cry whenever I think of Zombie and how he thinks he’s all worthless when HE’S SO HARDCORE AND BRAVE AND JUST REALLY SELFLESS. I also really like his character development and, while reading the story, loved exploring the hidden depths of his character.

4. Frank
from The Heroes of Olympus
reason: Frank would’ve been no where near this list if I had not read The House of Hades. His character growth and his strength and determination really got me in that book and, ultimately, he is now one of my favorite male characters.

5. Elder
from Across the Universe
reason: I honestly didn’t like him AT ALL in the first book, but he grew on me in the last two books in the series. I wasn’t even intending to put him on this list, but I thought about it and realized that I really respected him as a character. Especially when he did what he did in the end of Shades of Earth.

TOP 5 FICTIONAL CONCUBINES BOYFRIENDS

1. Adrian Ivashkov
from Vampire Academy and Bloodlines
reason: SO MUCH DEPTH TO HIS CHARACTER THAT I WANT TO CRY AND HE’S SO FUNNY AND CHARMING AND JUST AH do i really need to say anything more?

2. Percy Jackson
from Percy Jackson and the Olympians/The Heroes of Olympus
reason: do i really need to say anything HE’S FREAKING PERCY JACKSON, PEOPLE.

3 Étienne St. Clair
from Anna and the French Kiss
reason: i liek duh cute nd funnii boii!!!!!!!

4. Simon Lewis
from The Mortal Instruments
reason: His character development and dorky personality and humor are just sO CHARMING TO ME

5. Augustus Waters
from The Fault in Our Stars
reason: NOT READY TO DISCUSS HIM HE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY

TOP 5 FAVORITE SERIES (with more than one book released)
not in order

The Infernal Devices
by Cassandra Clare
reason: THE CHARACTERS AND THE PLOT ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE CHARACTERS WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO STAB YOURSELF UNTIL YOU FEEL THE PAIN THEY FEEL, AND THE PLOT WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO SCREAM SO LOUD THAT THE SOUND WAVES WILL MAKE YOUR BODY EXPLODE.

Vampire Academy/Bloodlines
by Richelle Mead
reason: I get so many emotions when I read these books; I’m honestly surprised that I’m not dead yet. I just really love all the characters and their relationships with each other and the unique plot and jusT EVERYTHING.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus
by Rick Riordan
reason: These books seem like fun reads, bUT THEY’LL REALLY BREAK YOUR HEART AND SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE DEVIL WHILE YOU’RE UNCONSCIOUS, MOANING ABOUT ALL THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED. LIKE THE ENDING OF THE MARK OF ATHENA AND THE LEO AND CALYPSO SITUATION IN THE HOUSE OF HADES

Pendragon
by D.J. MacHale
reason: This book series has the most uniquest plot I’ve ever read with great characters, twists, and very nicely constructed plot points. If you like screaming, you should definitely read this series beCAUSE YOU’LL DEFINITELY BE SCREAMING WHEN YOU REALIZE HOW MANY PEOPLE DIE IN THIS SERIES

The Chaos Walking
by Patrick Ness
reason: THE THEMES AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN THIS BOOK ARE SO BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED THAT IT WILL MAKE SATAN WANT TO WEEP
